Was bringing three hot AF ghosts back to life a grave mistake?
All I wanted to do was kiss my ghost boyfriends, but instead, I broke the veil between the worlds of the living and the dead. Whoops. Now, a horde of demons and hellbeasts is after us, and if I don't get control over my resurrection magic soon, we're in for some grave consequences. Like the end of the world.
I'm creeping it real here—I'm terrified. There isn't enough coffee in all of Grimdale to fortify me for this battle.
What if the price of falling for three beautiful, spirited, impossible men is worse than death? What if the only way to stop Grimdale from becoming a literal ghost town… is to give up my soul?
Bree and her ghostly men are back for their final spooky adventure in Not a Mourning Person, book four of this darkly humorous cozy fantasy series by bestselling author Steffanie Holmes. If you love a sarcastic heroine, hot, possessive, and slightly unhinged ghostly men, a mystery to solve, and a little kooky, spooky lovin' to set your coffin a rockin', then quit ghouling around and start listening!

Thank goodness for FB ads, otherwise I don’t think I would have ever found this author and that would have been a travesty. The entire series is incredible, with such a unique take on the supernatural - but *this* book? This one wrecked me in the best way. Ambrose is lovely, but Edward and Pax have my heart. Steffanie did such a good job fleshing out their personalities. They feel like real people, and I’m not ready to let any of them go. This book hangover is gonna hurt! )

This last novel of the series manages to ties up all the loose end very happily. That’s always a good thing. The pace is a tiny bit uneven, but that’s due to the sad parts of death. Can’t be helped. This last novel is also deeper into profound aspects of the story. It’s very readable, but I admit to skipping some of the three way sex scenes because they were not believable to me. I really like the part on the island of Malta. )

I have been a follower of Miss Holmes since I picked up the first book in the Nevermore Bookshop series. To have a second series in that same universe is a surprise and a delight. My only complaint is not about her writing in any way. I am not ready to face the hard discussions of loss and grief. I know it's not something you can prepare for, but man, that part hit so close. ~~spoilers ahead~~ 1. Pax becoming a pastry chef is truly the best but most unexpected twist of this whole series. If it...

This is an epic finale, to this amazing four book series. The perfect mixture of \"The Witches of Eastwick\" combined with \"The Davinci Code.\" Mysteries get solved, battles are fought and the most difficult lessons are learned. The entire series is a fantastically imaginative take on life and death. The only thing that I would have liked better, is if the ending wasn't so rushed to completion. I personally would have loved to have seen more of the h.e.a., instead of the brief run through that...
