I have starved for as long as I have been sentient.
Collecting soul after soul, I fed. I gorged.
Then he arrived, and suddenly, I understood what it truly meant to feel.
Jealousy. Greed. Obsession.
It tasted like him.
Intoxicating. Addicting.
I had to have my fill of him. Control him. Keep him.
And I did. And we were happy.
Trapped. But happy.
Until she arrived.
Her soul replete with mortal toil.
And I knew. I knew.
She is the one for him.
My most magnanimous gift to him.
She is to become his inamorata and give herself entirely to us.
Now she is ours.
Because no one escapes the Ambrose Hotel.
And no one escapes me.
Mania is a dark, paranormal romance and has a guaranteed HEA (albeit unconventional). It has mature situations and themes which may be considered triggers for some. Reader discretion is advised.

Naomi really hit the spooky season spot with this novella. She writes such addictively haunting stories that hook you so fast. Just when I felt like I had an idea about what was going on, Naomi sent me circling again with a twist—Fever Dream Series is such a fitting title. I don’t know how she fit so much into such a short book. It’s the perfect spooky season palette cleanser that will answer your questions but leave you with so many more. Maeve meets Hazel while she's looking for work at The...

The story itself was interesting enough. It’s great for spooky season with haunted hotel, ghosts, a masked man and spice. I did enjoy this. There was nothing wrong with the story, but I just wish there was more. This was a paranormal love story with a sentient hotel. It delivered what it said it was. It was good, but I think with more meat to the plot, it could have been great. Why 3.5⭐️ then? I would have love some more meat to this. We met a few ghosts. What were their stories? What’s the...

Genuinely and equally confused and intrigued by this. It was good but also yet completely…..what the heck did I just read sort of thing? I knew where we were going with the story from the beginning (call it the auDHD I can spot an ending a mile away) however, a lot of the lead up left me with more questions than not. I won’t ask them here because maybe I just didn’t understand them and they are spoilers but I do think the general premise was intriguing albeit muddled. I would absolutely give...

🌶️🌶️🌶️/5 A few spice scenes with some description. Chapters down below. Peep the trigger warnings before reading. Multiple POV Haunted Hotel Paranormal Dark Romance Masked Stranger Obsessive MMC Losing sense of reality Giving American Horror Story vibes. 👻 Fast paced, short read, mysterious, and thrilling. Written perfectly. Enough to keep you questioning but satiated. Definitely had more questions at the end, but I like the lingering of the unknown. Like we don’t have to know the whole...

Fever dream mania for sure. Fabulous novella. I wish the story was longer! Being trapped in a hotel with ghosts and no way out is a perfect story for spooky season. Very reminiscent of AHS Hotel. So if that’s your vibe, you’ll love Mania. Raven Wildwood and Scott Rose did a great job as Maeve and Hazel. They portrayed the characters perfectly as we the reader try to figure what’s real and what isn’t. The spicy scene in the hall was 😮💨😮💨 Check your TWs )
