Cox has quickly become one of my favorite authors. Each story's in this anthology was a page turn, so much so I purchased the book. If I could give this book 6 stars, I would , sadly 5 stars it shall be. The story in the Tubman National forest theme was, my favorite due to the plot twist. ) One person found this helpful

all of the short stories were so good, but the haunted house with zinnia and jacob was my favorite! it’s so hard to find paranormal/horror esque romance featuring a black woman so this was such a breath of fresh air. also, zinnia falling for the deceit and manipulation and only realizing once it was too late.. so good ) One person found this helpful
