Another great book in this series. I was wondering how Nichole Van was going to pull off a romance with a ghost and weave the D'Angelo sister into this series, but she does! Jack and Chiara have a unique, sweet romance. A couple that enjoys teasing and getting under each other's skin. Jack is British regency hunkiness who just wants to be real and have a full life with Chiara. Chiara has some demons in her life and some daddy issues that she has to work through, but she can't deny the chemistry...

The unexpected is continuous in this book. The big brothers constantly tease their little sister, but are supportive during her times of grief. )

I love Nichole Van's books, and this series more than the others. At first, I was disappointed because I forgot that this book was about Chiara and not Tennyson, who for some reason I really wanted a story for. However, that being said, Jack and Chiara's stormy relationship dragged me in until I was reading in despair, wondering how on Earth it was ever going to work out! The mystery, danger, suspense, and intrigue of the death threat as well and Jack's fan club all added to the story and...

Wow. Just wow.

I love all NV books. Particularly the House of Oak series (first books of hers I read). This series so far has been great - otherwise I wouldn't still be reading it. But this specific story may be my favorite of all of her books that I've read so far. I devoured it in less than 2 days - I probably would have finished it in less than 24 hours but I finally had to go to sleep. This is the third book in this series. It is the sisters story. Chiara is a complex character with a lot of emotional baggage. She drove me a little crazy, but overall I enjoyed this whole story. I love the twists and turns in these books. The men are just amazing and I love them all. Jack is no exception. Lots was left undone at the end, but there were no cliff hangers. I am so excited for Tennyson's story:} These are clean romances for 16 and up. Some steamy kisses that are just kisses:} )
