I loved the first book in this series enough to purchase this book. I am so sad that the third book isn't out yet, but maybe I'll get a bit of work done now. I have been so captivated by these two books that I really couldn't stop reading. The author surely does capture and hold my interest, as she weaves an incredible story. I just finished reading the first two books in a trilogy by Judy McDonough: Deadline and Lifeline. She hasn't finished the third yet, and I can hardly wait. I'm curious to know why Caroline is acting so strange to her mother having visions when just last summer it was her having them? She's acting like her mom is losing her mind, this whole scenario should be familiar to Caroline. I think it's dumb for her not to realize that. So I'm going to have to rate this book 3.75-3.90 stars for my frustration with her clueless-ness during this book 2. Cade is still wonderful and elusive! Ms. Judy you know how to write a MAN!
