Kings of Madness: All My Pretty Psychos Book Two

About this book

- [x]

Deprived beings without genetic mutations make the worst saviours.

I was wrong. So very wrong. I used to think love was a weakness, but now I draw on its strength to survive. Too bad I’m more alone than ever. Deemed useless by the deranged owner of Afterlife Asylum, every step I now take in the human world is a struggle. With a bitter chill gnawing at my bones, refusing to let me sleep, I long for the fires of the underworld. Although, I know from the chasm residing in my chest, those are not the fires I’m longing for.

Stuck between two worlds and not a part of either, I keep grappling onward with one goal in mind - save Hoax. Hell is my salvation, but I can’t be at peace with my adoptive demon mother until I see this through. Yet with Pyro still trapped and no way to help him, I must turn to the irritating prick who has always hated me and abandoned us in our hour of need. Always ready with a sarcastic answer and condescending smirk, I’ll need to work with Ghost to help free his brothers, no matter the cost. I’m on my last life. I have to make this one count.

Trigger warning: This novel is the second in a dark RH trilogy. Certain themes such as sex, self-harm, death and controversial beliefs are featured. However, those who always fall for the twisted, deranged villain and never question their own sanity about it, then come on in. The Afterlife Asylum is the place for you.

They have been through so much not only singly, but together as well. I also hope Hoax comes back to her because I loved their relationship between them even though he was not a solid person. Can’t wait for the next book! )

A little confused!

Spoilers ahead...... So, I did enjoy this book and I liked that the fmc's personality developed a bit more. I will read book 3. That being said, I didn't really understand the ending. They were in a maze as part of a reality game show, but then they were back in the asylum? Huh? What was real? What was not? How did this work? I needed A LOT more explanation there. Also, both this book and the previous one need another edit. There are several places were the wrong word is used, like maybe...

Amazing!!

**An Open Letter to Maddison Cole**

**An Open Letter to Maddison Cole** Dear Maddison, I kept reading — I *wanted* to believe. I *hoped* that with *Kings of Madness,* the storm would finally hit, that the chaos and destruction brewing beneath the surface would finally tear loose. But instead, I found myself standing in the middle of the wreckage, waiting for an impact that never fully came. There’s something missing. I can’t even put my finger completely on it — but I felt the hollow spaces you didn’t fill. The world? Still...
