Jasmine Street Blues (Seawolf Beach Book 3)

by Linda Winstead Jones

About this book

Police Chief Joseph Maxwell had almost given up the search for his estranged stepdaughter, but lately he’s been motivated to step up his efforts. His ex-wife’s ghost — he still can’t believe how that happened — told him to find their girl. He’s put his own life on hold and that can’t change, not until he finds Carrie. He doesn’t count on a friend who’s determined to play matchmaker.

Loran Raine moves often, picking up in the middle of the night and lighting out when it seems as if someone might discover her secret. A talented artist who sells landscapes and florals, what really drives her to the canvas remains behind closed doors. Portraits of the dead. Over the years the discovery of these paintings have led to confusion, accusations, and even danger. She can’t afford to get involved with a man, no matter how badly her new friend wants her and Mac to become an item.

Love should be impossible when Mac and Loran are both obsessed with their own secrets, their own quests, but they’re drawn together in a way neither of them expects or wants. Can Mac keep Loran safe from those who hunt her? Can she help him find Carrie?

Will a message from his ex-wife’s ghost bring them together or tear them apart?

Such a good feeling about these characters

Jasmine Street Blues is a great book. Ghost Town I Do is the short story between bk 2 and 3. The wedding of Colt and Anna was fabulous. The plans for a beach wedding were changed due to rain. All their friends got busy and what a wedding it was. The ghosts were helpful too. The third book was a fitting ending to this series. Loran and Mac solve her running problem and of course ghosts helped out also. These are books that bring joy to any reader. I loved them so much on kindle that I also...

Jasmine Street Blues is rocking. So many mystical surprises. I was flying through the pages. The only reason I stopped last night was because I couldn't keep my eyes open. I thought about Loran and Mac and Bubbles and Carrie for an another hour. I laughed and sighed and then was holy smokes. This book has it all. Thrills, chills, and long sighs. I don't want to spoil it for anyone, but it keeps you guessing. I loved it. Linda Winstead Jones you are a true inspiration. Thank you for making my...

Ghost, unexplained phenomena, a long lost daughter, love and a dog named Bubbles. What more could you want in a place called Seawolf Beach? It was an extremely fun book to read. The last in a trilogy, but each can stand alone. )
