Just when I didn't think the author could get any freakier and creepier than Rattling Bone, book 2 in their OutFoxing the Paranormal series, out comes #3, Into the Dark. I think many of us have preconceived ideas when it comes to abandoned hospitals of any kind but especially psychiatric or asylums thanks to Hollywood and the Travel Channel which has a few shows like the one's our characters are part of. Sometimes having those ideas going into a book can be difficult to overcome, to not be...

Tbqh I had been tempted to give this book five stars before I had even read it, because in all the years I've been reading his books, Jordan Hawk has never let me down I could have safely followed through on that impulse. Jordan has such a good balance of building tension subtly until you suddenly realize you've been on the edge of your seat for three hours and haven't been able to put the book down. Love his work as always, and now I have to bemoan my fate that I have to wait until the next...

It was a real gripper of a tale. New things were reveled. I knew the group had made one wrong decision, but I chock that up to my reading too many mysteries in my life. Still it kept me going to the end. Can't wait to see the next installment. )

Honestly, I don't know what to say other than I really love this series. The characters are great; hope we see more of the new faces. The setting was intriguing. Best of all, the suspense and tension were thrilling. I truly couldn't put this one down. )
