The Jade Calhoun series is one of my favorites! She always has some crazy situation going on, and Deanna Chase always makes sure it is exciting. This series is constantly evolving, and that is one of the things I love most about it. It's great to see Jade and Kane again. It is obvious they are very connected in this book. Very few authors can write a convincing relationship, especially one where both parties are supportive of each other and give their partner the room to grow.It seems that once the main characters get together, the authors lose interest in them. Granted, Jade and Kane have just gotten married, but getting dragged out of their wedding reception to save angels is a great twist! I have really enjoyed this series. Though I found out the hard way it is definitely best read in order. (In case you didn't know there are a couple novellas intertwined throughout the series.) I loved that this book made Kane as big a player as Jade has always been. I find it extremely interesting that they both seem to grow in new and unusual ways and still seem to keep rolling with the next thing that comes their way.
