Heart Burn: The 1st Freak House Trilogy, Book 3

by Bridget Thomas

About this book

Time is running out for Hannah. With her life hanging by a thread and Tate trying to kidnap her, she finds help in an unusual quarter – the man who put the narcoleptic memory block on her as a child. Yet the powerful hypnotist may not be all that he seems. It’s difficult to trust a man who regularly hypnotizes his wife against her wishes, and who is much too interested in Jack’s unnatural abilities.

With so much at stake, the last thing Hannah and Jack need is to be apart. Yet they cannot touch each other if they want to stay alive.

This thrilling conclusion to the 1st Freak House Trilogy will take you on an emotional roller coaster with twists, turns, highs and lows that will leave you gasping for breath.

Heartwarming!

The last book in this Series has some slower parts of the book, but it's still not to much and not to bothersome. I loved to get an answer to all the questions that has been lingering. I was however a little dissapointed that it was not acknowledged who Jack's half sister really is, that was the first I thought about when we got to know more about Jack's parent's. But all in all a great book and an amazing series. So glad I picked this up, and so far C.J. Archer has never let me down once so...

Kept me interested...

This is the last of the trilogy - I enjoyed the characters and the uniqueness of the premise. All 3 books kept me intrigued. )

This one left me with a smile :-)

A quick read with mystery, a little suspense, hurdles, scandal (for the era) and all the emotions. The writing provides decent visuals and connections to characters while keeping the reader guessing what all the secrets are. I liked that the story made me chuckle a couple times, get a little upset and recognize both the good & bad sides of characters. Nice job! ) One person found this helpful

A great series

I learned about CJ Archer through the Glass and Steele series. Then I read the Ministry of Curiosities and then I learned about this series. I don't know how CJ Archer does but each book is both unique and great. We get to learn about new characters, new mysteries and secrets and it all fits well. I am sorry when each of these series ends. I wish we could get new stories about them. )
