As book three in the series, you should know up front that none of the books in this series read well as a standalone story. Twisty, emotional, and brutal!!

This was the most emotionally charged and suspenseful book in the series for me. The mystery was twisty, the tension stayed high, and the found-family dynamics really came through. I was fully invested by this point and absolutely flew through it—only to be left reeling by the ending.
