Ghost of a Memory is book three in a complete, four-book romantic urban fantasy series.
I need a break, even if it means hanging out with the living dead.
Am I going crazy? I keep thinking that I see Maxwell everywhere I go. Just glimpses, but it’s enough that I can’t move on like I know I’m supposed to. So when my rival ghost hunter Carter asks me to help him investigate reports about zombies at an abandoned island resort, I jump at the chance.
I’m definitely going crazy for teaming up with that arrogant jerk.
First I’m ambushed by a reality TV crew, then I come face-to-face with walking corpses. They might look like zombies, but there’s something sad about them. Besides, how did they end up on an abandoned island in the first place?
As we try to help the creatures find peace, I start feeling something for the handsome historian who’s helping us, even though I can’t stop thinking about Maxwell. Then things take a dangerous turn, and I know we have to learn what happened here if we’re going to make it out alive…

If you have read the previous books in this series then you know that Carter & Betty are verging on friendship while teaming up for ghost hunting. They also find trouble, a lot. Now they have mystery and danger that they have to not only figure out but also fight against together. Very good writing, hope you enjoy. )

A nice twist to the zombie lore, loved to see Carter and Betty working as a team. I didn't like Maxwell's and Betty's break up, but love prevailed at the end. Ready for the ending on the next installment. )

Deceptions, betrayals, reality TV, and zombies. Carter and Betty team up to take on rouge demon hunters and help spirits inhabiting rotting zombies. They grow as people and friends. And their lives have changed as a result of the dangers and deceptions they faced. And it seems that some demon hunters become more like the evil they hate. Ms Dolgner writes interesting stories and engaging characters. Looking forward to reading the next book. )

Carter next time you would ask anyone to go to an island with you, it would most likely be a big NO. Lou, I am disappointed you went to the dark side. Can't wait to see what lies ahead in book 4. )
