This short story could have easily been my story, with exceptions, of course. I imagine it will resonate with many others who’ve lost their spouse or other loved ones, but also for those who still have ‘their person,’ I hope this story will enrich their bond. Sometimes, the unimaginable can happen if we’re in the right frame of mind, and as far-fetched as this story may seem to a few, there are many more who would give anything for just…one. more. day. )
