The triggers had me cackling which made me HAVE TO read this book. Short and sweet with a handful of spice, I couldn’t put it down. If you’re in a book slump, this will get you back on track! )

This was a fun spooky season story. If you enjoyed The Legend of Sleepy Hollow by Washington Irving, this picks up from that. Odette replaces Ichabod Crane after he went missing. If you liked the orginal but thought this needs spice and swearing, this is the book for you. It made me laugh with all the blunt and crude remarks. It had a great gothic love story. Delilah's debut novel is a take on the Sleepy Hollow story and takes place after Ichabod Crane. This was quite a fun take on the story. Odette has become the new teacher after Ichabod disappeared. She handles the adjustment to the new town well until she is on the wrong side of the bridge late one night. She sees the horseman and becomes determined to uncover who he is.
