The ninth and final novel of the Experiment in Terror series is Dust to Dust. It's been a long and crazy ride for author Karina Halle. She has done a remarkable job keeping this lengthy series fresh and exciting when many authors would have struggled to do the same. Halle is wonderfully creative when it comes to writing in the horror romance genre. She has one hell of a vivid imagination and crazy talent for putting her horror scenes to paper. Ghosts. Demons. Haunted houses. Spooky sanatoriums....

This was more of a 3.5 to 4 star read for me. It took me a little while to actually get into the book and start enjoying it. Unfortunately, I started to lose interest again towards the end, which I understand was strictly the result of having to wrap up a nine book storyline. Dex and Perry had been through a lot and the author had to give them a conclusion. Fans want to know what ultimately happens with them.
