Devil Days in Deadwood: A Deadwood Humorous Mystery, Book 11

by Ann Charles

About this book

“Hell is empty and all the devils are here.” (William Shakespeare)

Violet Parker knows better than to play with devils. They always cheat, especially when lives are at stake. Deadwood’s charming, troublemaking, and soul-sucking devils are no different, and they’re biting at her heels.

But the clock is ticking and Violet has no choice - she must risk her life to save her treasured Aunt Zoe. With any luck, she might be able to trick the devils and beat the old terrors at their own game. If not, Deadwood could end up short one Executioner.

“Executioners don’t duck, they swing.” (Violet Parker)

Ann Charles' Deadwood books always deliver laughs, chills, and \"the feels\", all in an addictive series that you never want to end! They are part comedy, mystery, romance, and thriller with supernatural & paranormal fights to the death. They are also about family, both blood and chosen, and loyalty to the end. This heroine may not have signed up to protect people from evil but she's the only one to take up the call. She's scared but does what she must in order to protect her kids, her friends,...

Another Hilarious Installment in the Deadwood Mystery Series

Devil Days in Deadwood is another hilarious installment in the Deadwood Mystery Series (Book 11). Violet and her zany paranormal posse continue to learn more about themselves and each other as they continue to persevere in their fight against Deadwood's evil spirits. This is one of my favorite book series. Here’s why: 1. The humor is a direct hit to my funny bone. 2. Their capers & antics are fun, heart-starting and always heartwarming. 3. The History of Deadwood plays a big role in the...

Another exciting advernture, but too much bickering

When this book gets around to Violet's adventures against the paranormal villains, it's very compelling reading. I was glad to see the conclusion of the story line that has been hanging around for several books now, though it seemed that it was far more possible to vanquish the liderc than we had been led to believe. With that wrapped up, though, several more new story threads emerged, so this series will keep going for a long time to come. We also got some significant character development...

Such a good author, she pulls you in!

I just love reading books written by Anne Charles. She reminds me of Janet Evanovich in her style and character descriptions. Anne's book series, Deadwood, makes me laugh out loud and gives me the creeps at the same time. They aren't really horror fiction but more paranormal and just downright fun! #DevilDaysInDeadwood #AnnWCharles Her main character, Violet, is like many of us. Single mom and working her butt off to take care of her precocious twins. Great, kooky best friend Natalie, and a...
