by Jane Ashwood
Four hundred years ago, Kenna MacLulaich was betrayed by her lovers and burned as a witch on the desolate moors of Grieves End. Death refused her, leaving her soul tethered to a crumbling estate as a vengeful spirit. For centuries, she has haunted the Grieves bloodline, a silent observer of their downfall. But when three estranged descendants arrive to claim the manor, the spectral boundary between the living and the dead begins to shatter.
Victor, Arthur, and William are worlds apart, yet they are all drawn into Kenna’s orbit. What starts as a haunting quickly transforms into a dangerous, high-stakes game of seduction. As the only ghost who can touch, speak, and desire, Kenna finds her cold heart thawing. This is not a typical haunting; it is a gripping reverse-harem gothic paranormal romance where the line between vengeance and passion blurs with every passing night.
Jane Ashwood delivers a hauntingly original second-chance romance that transcends time. With atmospheric prose and a deeply compelling heroine, this story weaves history, healing, and forbidden desire into a mesmerizing narrative. If you are craving a paranormal read that is as emotionally resonant as it is steamy, look no further than the shadows of Grieves End.

It was unlike anything I've read before, but I enjoyed the uniqueness. I definitely recommend it and I'll be checking out this author to see if she's written anything else. )

This book told a beautiful story about history, love, healing, and forgiveness, and by the end I honestly just wanted more. The FMC was one of my favorite parts of the story. Her personality was very direct and refreshingly honest. She didn’t hide her feelings or soften her words just to be polite; she said exactly what she meant, and I loved that about her. I also really appreciated how the men in the story treated her. They were incredibly patient and understanding, giving her the space she...

New author to me, and I thought this book was wonderfully written. I think the twist at the end was done tastefully and I appreciated the author's care with it. )
