Eldrith Manor

by Sarah Bailey
It started when I died.
Not many people can say they woke up dead. Even fewer people wake up as ghosts. Guess I’m the unlucky one since no one can see or hear me, and I have no recollection of how I ended up like this.
I thought I’d spend the afterlife alone… until him. The solitary man who stumbled across me during my restless wandering of the Scottish Highlands. He doesn’t want me around. I can’t seem to stay away.
It turns out Ciaran has a dark secret. And I’m determined to discover exactly what he’s hiding even if it might mean the death of me all over again.
A standalone dark paranormal romance novella (M/F pairing) with a very unconventional HEA.
This is a DARK romance and therefore comes with a content warning. Please see authors website for full details.

I love the heck out of this book. It is one of my top reads of the year. It’s HOT. A bit twisted. Shminky. Paranormal. And had a twist I didn’t see coming. Fabulous )
I'm a big fan of Sarah Bailey's books, and this one is no different. Whilst the storyline is quite different to any of Sarah's other work, i still loved it and it ticked a lot of the dark romance boxes for me and still made me feel all the warm fuzzies. There is so much i could say, but it would completely spoil it for everyone. But if filthy talking Scottish men is your thing, you'll love Ciaran 🥵🥵. )
Truly awful book! We chose it for our book club and only myself and another member read it, because we warned the others not to waste their valuable, hard earned wages on buying it! From the first page the tone and writing style should have been clue enough to leave alone. I am an older woman, with plenty of different and eventful life experiences so do not consider myself in any a prude or sheltered in anyway but, the sex scenes (which were prolific, extremely boring and monotonous to read),...
