60 Seconds Between Worlds: A Love Story Beyond Death (60 Seconds Forever Book 2)

Everlasting, Maine, is a town where the weather has a mind of its own and the secrets are as deep as the Atlantic. Meteorologist Zoe Parker thought she had escaped the quirky charm of her hometown, but when her eccentric great-aunt Sapphire suffers a suspicious fall at her lighthouse home, Zoe is forced to return. What she finds is a mystery involving intruders, a house full of cats, and a very chatty ghost who refuses to cross over until his business is finished.
The investigation throws Zoe back into the orbit of Dane Stanton, her former flame. As they team up to protect Sapphire and uncover the truth, the old chemistry between them ignites once more. This paranormal romance masterfully blends high-stakes mystery with a second-chance trope that feels both fresh and deeply emotional. Watching two people who share a complicated past navigate a present filled with magic and spectral interference is as heartwarming as it is suspenseful.
If you are craving a story that balances supernatural intrigue with witty banter and cozy, coastal vibes, this is your next obsession. It is a whimsical, fast-paced adventure that proves that even in a town full of ghosts, the hardest thing to face is a heart from the past.

So many good things about this book! It is a premise based on magic complete with a ghost (who I might add has more character than many ghosts!) The main character lives in a light house-how neat is that? Although she is over 80, Sapphire is a tough lady who acts at least 20 years younger than her age. When intruders are discovered in her house, she comes down from her room with mace, but they manage to make her fall near the bottom of the stairs. When she is found in the morning by the man who...

Another fun read from Ms. DeLeon! I've read the Mudbug series and enjoyed it. I've read the Miss Fortune Mysteries and can't wait for the next installment of that series, they are so fun! So I thought I'd give this a try and it was very entertaining. The mystery part is surprising but the romance part is more routine however, very well written so the book was quite entertaining. I highly recommend giving this author a try, I believe you will enjoy it. ) 2 people found this helpful

Dead Man Talking is the first book in the Happily Everlasting Series written by four authors, Jana Deleon, Mandy M. Roth, Michelle M. Pillow and Kristen Painter. The stories take place in Everlasting, Maine a small town along the coast, “where there’s no such thing as normal.” I love this book, it is the first book that I have read by Jana Deleon. I found it well written with mystery, paranormal, and a little romance all perfectly balance. Everlasting, Maine sounds like a very interesting place...

I really like Jana Deleon's writing style. She is one of my favorite authors and almost never disappoints. I wish she had written all the books in this series. This story is sweet and mostly light hearted. It's an easy and fast read. The characters are well developed and I felt like I knew them by the end of the book. That's important to me, I want to feel as if I care about them and what happens to them. The plot isn't earth shattering but this is not that type of book. I found the storyline...

This novel is part of a four-book series, in which each book is written by a different, popular author. I wish I could rate it higher, but there are issues. The author repeats herself far too frequently, each instance within a page of the other. It’s jarring, and good editing should have caught the problem before the story headed to publication. This repetitiveness is something she never does in her own series. The author also lost track of her own main character’s traits. The girl who left her...
