Healing the past is the only way to survive what lies ahead.
Angela McAllister and Connor Wilcox are over and done, tragedy and death having driven an immoveable wedge between them. Certain she’s lost a love she had just begun to believe would be hers forever, Angela returns home to resume her place as her clan’s prima — without her consort at her side.
Adjusting to a new normal will have to wait, especially when Angela learns her little birth-control charm couldn’t fool Fate — and now she’s the next target of the fatal Wilcox curse. With her own death warrant signed and sealed, Angela is determined to break this dark legacy, and it starts with reaching out to her beautiful, brokenhearted Connor for reconciliation and forgiveness.

This was an amazing end to a great series. If you haven't read The Witches of Cleopatra Hill Series, you need to pick these books up now! This final book in the series has twists, turns, and both heartbreaking and heart-lifting moments, so trust me, you won't be disappointed. After the shocking end to Darknight, Ms. Pope delivers a very satisfying conclusion to the story and wraps up all the loose ends. Ms. Pope's writing is simply extraordinary, and will sweep you into the world of witches and...

I gave this book, and the whole Witches of Cleopatra Hill trilogy, a 5-star rating because they are completely absorbing to me. Romance, mystery, the supernatural, family history... all of these elements are present and woven into a great storyline. The characters are believable, and their actions very true to life. The story of Angela, new prima of her clan, and the task of finding her consort is fraught with the suspense of a young woman's desires and the traditions of her clan. Just when you think the story is going in one direction it takes a little turn and has you nodding in agreement or annoyance. I won't...
