60 Seconds Between Worlds: A Love Story Beyond Death (60 Seconds Forever Book 2)
R.J. Lumen
by David Sherwood
Grief is a ghost that refuses to leave, but for Amanda, the spirit of her late husband is more than just a memory. After surviving a harrowing car accident that claimed his life in 1976, Amanda is left to navigate a world that feels hollow and gray. Consumed by heartbreak, she begins to believe that the only path to reunion lies beyond the veil of the living. What begins as a desperate longing soon transforms into a chilling paranormal romance, as the boundary between life and death begins to blur in ways neither of them could have anticipated.
This haunting tale masterfully weaves the trope of star-crossed lovers with a spectral twist, exploring whether a bond as deep as theirs can truly survive the grave. As Amanda delves into the unsettling secrets of her family history, she discovers that some connections are forged in blood and shadow, and that the ones we love may not always be what they seem.
David Sherwood delivers a gripping narrative that shifts seamlessly between perspectives, pulling readers into an atmospheric journey of devotion and dread. If you are searching for a supernatural story that balances raw, gut-wrenching emotion with a shocking, unpredictable climax, this is the perfect addition to your shelf. Prepare to lose sleep as you uncover the truth behind their eternal, intertwined fate.

Darken French Road was a wonderful book. I love a book that I can feel what the characters felt. In Sherwood's words you can understand and feel what Amanda and Tom were feeling. At times it had me crying like a baby. Needed lots of tissues. As I was reading I started thinking it was going to have the ending like so many books do but the end surprised me. I wasn't that way at all. It was a perfect ending to a perfect book! Everyone should defiantly read it! Can't wait to read another one of his...
