When Brandon Havili gets recruited by the FBI, he’s immediately assigned to shadow his brother and the psychic Donovan’s anchored to. Brandon doesn’t mind this in the slightest. He loves his brother, Jon seems cool, and it’s a great way to learn how to be an anchor, which is what the FBI wants him for. It’s supposedly three weeks of just following people around and observing.

But there’s a hitch in the plans. Brandon accidentally picks up a hitchhiker of the ghostly variety. Donovan is NOT pleased. Jon is amused to no end.

Dealing with the ghost means going back to the place Brandon accidentally got it from, Eureka Springs, Arkansas. They expect to meet up with an FBI medium, exorcise said ghost, and go home again.

FBI Medium Mackenzie Lafayette is not at all what Brandon expects. And for once, he’s quite happy to ditch the plan. Returning to Nashville can wait. He’s got a sexy medium to figure out first.

Brandon and Mack's first book is fun, cute, sweet, and a little spicy. No angst, all the over protective Havilli vibes, and a wonderful start to this series. )

Shiny Happy People Holding Hands...

I really enjoy the characters this author creates. I have read everything available by her on Amazon at this point and eagerly await any new releases. So why not 5 stars? I am starting to notice an unfortunate pattern of there not being enough conflict in these stories. A happy group of good people meet other good people and live happily ever after. Hmm. Fun in real life but not quite as interesting in a novel. If you like her writing, try some of the other series. The same thing is happening...

A short side story in the Jon & Donovan arc. This was a nice light ghost story with a new cute romance. No angst. i enjoyed seeing Jon from the outside, and seeing a different Hawaii personality. One of the Main characters has severe allergies Other Content information: • Family dynamics; some sweet, some difficult • Descriptive MM sex • Ghosts and ghost hunting )

Great start to a new spinoff series!

Now that Jon & Donovan’s relationship is so solid, it’s time for us to meet Donovan’s brother. Last we heard, he had accepted a job with the FBI, and now he’s a probie training to be an anchor. Those Havili’s seem to be built to be anchors, don’t they? Brandon is a delight, and his love of all things spooky is such a fun contrast to Donovan’s fear of all things horror.
