This must be the most difficult review I've ever written... because words are not enough to describe everything this book gave me, took from me, made me feel. Catte has raised the bar to an astonishing level. Firstly because writing a book in a language that is not your native is a challenge that not everyone can achieve. LOVED this book. It's a paranormal romance / second chance romance. the main female character thinks she lost the love of her life as he disappears without a trace. years later he comes back. except he's not quite the same. the book was an emotional roller coaster. I was laughing at their banter and a chapter later would be crying. at one point I was sobbing. not a spoiler but there is a happily ever after. highly recommend )

This genre is definitely out of the norm for me, but I am so glad that I gave this book a chance. I really enjoyed it and it definitely got me all in my feels! This story was way more emotional than I expected it to be, but it leans so hard into trauma, grief, love, and healing and all the messy pieces of those journeys too.
