60 Seconds Between Worlds: A Love Story Beyond Death (60 Seconds Forever Book 2)

by Catte Coelho
Khalee and Kaze were two lonely souls bound by digital whispers and late-night confessions. Their connection was an anchor, a rare understanding that made the world feel survivable. But just as they bridged the gap between virtual intimacy and reality, Kaze vanished, leaving Khalee shattered and silencing the girl who once dared to hope. It was a loss that carved a hollow space in her life, one that refused to heal for five long years.
When Khalee finally returns home to confront her past, she expects closure. Instead, she finds a haunting, impossible truth: Kaze is dead, yet he is standing right in front of her. As a gripping paranormal romance that defies the boundaries of mortality, this story plunges into the dark, visceral corners of grief and obsession. Kaze is still as magnetic as ever, but he is a specter trapped in the echoes of a life he can no longer claim.
This is not a typical love story; it is a dark, emotional journey that tests the limits of devotion. Faced with the ghost of the man who was once her everything, Khalee must decide if she will anchor herself to a memory or finally sever the tether to a love that survives beyond the veil.

This must be the most difficult review I've ever written... because words are not enough to describe everything this book gave me, took from me, made me feel. Catte has raised the bar to an astonishing level. Firstly because writing a book in a language that is not your native is a challenge that not everyone can achieve. She has given us a book with an unexpected story, of unique beauty, with consistent characters who are strong in their fragility and capable in their humanity. Incredible, the...

LOVED this book. It's a paranormal romance / second chance romance. the main female character thinks she lost the love of her life as he disappears without a trace. years later he comes back. except he's not quite the same. the book was an emotional roller coaster. I was laughing at their banter and a chapter later would be crying. at one point I was sobbing. not a spoiler but there is a happily ever after. highly recommend )

This genre is definitely out of the norm for me, but I am so glad that I gave this book a chance. I really enjoyed it and it definitely got me all in my feels! This story was way more emotional than I expected it to be, but it leans so hard into trauma, grief, love, and healing and all the messy pieces of those journeys too. The story is very character driven, which I also enjoyed. We have Khalee and Kaze who both have their share of struggles. We watch their journey as they reconnect when...

ENG Please keep in mind that this is my first book review. And I’ll start by thanking Catte for inviting me to join the ARC Readers, a gesture that opened the door to an unforgettable experience. From the very first pages, this book took me down a path with no return, in the best possible way. It had been a long time since I had felt so intensely: the ability to cry, to laugh, to live deep emotions seemed somewhat lost in me, but I found it again here. I felt. I cried. I smiled. Catte’s writing...
