Elisa and Gabriele's marriage comes to an end the day she discovers she is in love with Fabrizio. For love, Elisa decides to completely turn her life upside down, saying goodbye to her husband to move to the mountains with the man she considers, to all intents and purposes, her soul mate. But just when she thinks she is finally a complete woman alongside the man she loves, everything is turned upside down.

Elisa discovers that the hard times are far from over for her and finds herself having to deal first with a jealous wife and then with a ghost who has returned from the afterlife to seek revenge.

Fabrizio will prove to be a very different man from what she believed, and Elisa will have to face hell alone, until someone unexpectedly lends her a hand.
