So, I have been a huge fan of Karina Halle's EIT series since Darkhouse and I just love this little einsight into Dex's crazy and well pervy mind. I think this short story helps the fans of the series understand Dex more just like the first book she wrote from his POV The Dex Files. I love Dex Foray. That is all. I wish I could just get away with leaving that as my review. Okay, let's see....you've read all the books before this one. You know all about Dex and Perry's tumultuous relationship or lack there of. This is novella, all from Dex's pov and it covers the time between Lying Season and On Demon Wings. It's funny, I had read all of the book a while ago. I was worried I wouldn't remember what was going on. Boy was I wrong. You get immediately sucked back into the world...

I dropped everything I was doing and reading to start this one as soon as it became available. And I am so glad I did. I love Dex. He is one of those characters that gets under your skin, that you root for, cry over and fantasize about. After reading The Dex Files, I had a better understanding about what makes this mysterious man tic. After reading And With Madness...I now know what's in his soul. The break-up at the end of Lying Season was brutal. On Perry, on us as readers (I cried for days...
