A Gift of Ghosts: Tassamara, Book 1

by Sarah Wynde

About this book

Akira Malone is a woman of science who views the world through the lens of evolution and physics. She has spent her life dismissing the whispers of the dead as nothing more than rogue electromagnetic energy. Yet, she cannot ignore the reality of her own existence: she is a reluctant spirit-medium haunted by the very ghosts she refuses to believe in.

Enter Zane Latimer, a man who embraces the extraordinary with open arms. A firm believer in the unseen, Zane sees past Akira’s logical defenses and recognizes the rare potential hidden within her. He needs her help to bridge the gap between the living and the dead to save his family, forcing Akira to confront the terrifying truth of her own power.

This gripping paranormal romance masterfully weaves a second-chance narrative into a world where the boundary between life and death is dangerously thin. As Akira and Zane navigate the mysterious secrets of Tassamara, their connection deepens, challenging everything they thought they knew about love and the afterlife. If you are looking for a hauntingly beautiful story that balances atmospheric chills with a slow-burning emotional journey, this is the perfect addition to your reading list.

Loved the Ghosts - Good story! - Great editing

February 26, 2015

Do you believe in ghosts? You know bumps in the night and all? The unnatural cold you feel, why is that? Sometimes do you feel like you’re being watched but there’s no one there? Or are you one that only believes what the naked eye can see? Is there life after death? Or is this life we live all there is too our existence? Does our spirit actually leave our body and just disappear into thin air like a puff of smoke, or does it travel through the white light? Maybe it’s a doorway, or a staircase....

Fun Ghosts(Mostly)

August 18, 2014

Recently I read a book titled, A Lonely Magic, that I just fell in love with and couldn’t put down. So of course I went looking for other books by the same author and found this book, along with the rest of this series. If you like a good ghost story, with a sweet romance, this book is a must read. I found it to be a really fun, easy read. Akira is a scientist with a lifelong problem. She sees and talks to ghosts. To her, it’s an embarrassment and absolutely something to hide from everyone....

Wonderful Paranormal Romance

So I started reading this author's work on fan fiction and loved her writing style. It was simply impeccable and her ability to capture the essence of the Eureka characters was amazing. So even though I loved her work when I heard she was writing an original work I was little skeptical. I'm definitely not a fan of paranormal fiction so I decided to skip this and stick to Eureka fan fiction. Then recently the book went for free on amazon for one day only so I decided to get it and give it a...

Love this Awesome

I requested this book and was granted permission to read and give a honest review. This was my first book to read by Ms. Wynde but it will not be my last. I love reading books that makes me smile and laugh out loud. I absolutely enjoyed the Paranomal and love aspect of this story. This was a marvelous storyline where Akira Malone has ability to see, talk and be posse by ghosts. This Physics teacher and researcher Akira Malone flies from California to Florida for a job in this small town of...

Well-Constructed Fun!

4.5 stars. Sarah Wynde introduces the reader to a fun, quirky little town, and the fun, quirky people who inhabit it, both in life, and in the hereafter. What starts out on the surface as a fun romp through a light paranormal romance turns unexpectedly tender at times, surprising you with both laugh-out-loud moments and moments of poignant sadness. That the author can do this without becoming maudlin or overbearingly dramatic is a credit to the story. As much of the story was in Akira's point...
