This is the Spin-off to The Fabric of Our Souls; it must be read first to follow the characters in this story.
“Death is not the end of us.”
Follow the emotional and heartwarming story of two mentally unwell ghosts who’ve lost their way.
Lanston.
It’s been five years since I died and I’m still here. Still haunting this world. I’ve all but given up hope of passing on the other side when I’m dragged to a spring performance with Yelina and Jericho. It’s there that I see the most beautiful phantom I’ve ever witnessed dancing on the stage. Only after meeting her do I realize how similar we are. But darkness chases her, keeping her distant from me. But how far am I willing to go to find peace?
Ophelia.
I’ve evaded other phantoms for years. To keep them safe and away from the shadows that haunt me. But for some reason, I can’t stay away from him. He invites me to join him at Harlow Sanctum, where he asks me to join him in completing our bucket list. He wants to pass on. But I have a dark past that keeps me from wanting to follow him into the dark.

You magnificent, shimmering, heart-wrenching, utterly glorious beast of a book. Where do I even begin? Trying to describe the sheer, effervescent magic of this story feels like attempting to capture starlight in a teacup – inadequate, yet undeniably beautiful. From the moment I cracked open the cover, I was swept away, not just into the world, but into the very soul of it. The prose? Forget mere words; this is a symphony of language, each sentence a perfectly pitched note that resonates deep...

4.5/5 ⭐️ 2/5 🔥 A Ballad of Phantoms and Hope is Lanstons story, who we met in The Fabric of Our Souls. TFoOS is one of my top reads so far this year and Lanston was one of my favorite characters so I had high expectations for this book and it did not disappoint! Lanston and Ophelia’s story was so hearting breakingly beautiful, I think I cried through half the book. I’m not sure I can even put into words the way this book touched my heart and soul in so many ways. I think the characters being...

Plot: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Characters: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Spice/Romance: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Writing/Prose: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Overall: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 After finishing The Fabric of Our Souls, I downloaded Phantoms and Hope without hesitation. Lanston had quietly carved a space in my heart, and I needed to see his story through. This book picks up five years after Lanston’s death, and we’re instantly plunged into the quiet ache of his afterlife. His backstory? Absolutely gutting. K.M. Moronova doesn’t hold back when it comes to...

The fabric in our souls truly destroyed me that I was so ready to cry following Lanstons story in purgatory. The story was very nice but honestly felt so predictable with the outcome, it was very hard to finish this book but after reading it I think it just left that sense of calmness. Not a spicy book if you were looking for that here lol🌶️ ) One person found this helpful
