Not your average romance… in a good way.

I’m not a huge romance girly. I find them usually boring and repetitive but this one actually had a plot that was more then “girl likes boy the scares boy away.” You can really barely call it a romance. It’s more of a how to deal with grief story done in a unique and bittersweet way. )

I wasn't sure what I was getting into with 60 Seconds Forever, but damn, this book took me places I didn't expect. The premise hooked me immediately: Lila's husband dies on their wedding night, but he keeps visiting her by possessing random people for exactly 60 seconds at a time. As a concept, it's heartbreaking and eerie, and R.J. Lumen commits to it fully. What I loved: The grief feels REAL. Lila's processing is messy, raw, and authentic. This isn't the sanitized \"stages of grief\"...

This book has it all - humor, romance, and supernatural elements that will all pull you in. The imagery is crystal clear and so vivid that you can’t help but be pulled into the story.
