About this book

Seven years ago, a single night at the infamous Gothic nightclub, Transfusion, changed everything for Keira. Her encounter with the cruel and captivating Vampire King, Lucius, left her heart shattered and her pride in ruins. After he coldly humiliated her and cast her aside, she tried to move on, carving out a quiet, independent life in London. But in the dangerous world of urban fantasy, the past has a way of hunting you down, especially when that past looks like a powerful, ancient predator.

When Lucius abruptly reappears, he is out for blood, and Keira is terrified she is the primary target. Yet, as the lines between hunter and prey blur, it becomes clear that the Vampire King has designs on her that go far beyond simple malice. As he exerts his dominant, forceful will, Keira finds her long-suppressed obsession with him reigniting, leaving her to wonder if his dark intensity is a threat or a twisted form of desire.

This quintessential paranormal romance delivers the ultimate alpha-hero dynamic, blending high-stakes supernatural tension with a volatile, slow-burn connection. If you are looking for an addictive, character-driven journey through a hidden world of demons and vamps, this series is your next obsession.

A King of more than Persons

March 12, 2021

Stephanie starts out slow but soon her writing style pulls you into the story. She can get overly wordy and sidelined at times but that is ok as it adds flavor to the storyline. One simple example of wordiness was when she used about 3 to 4 paragraphs to describe an old couch in Amelia’s apartment. The spicy relationship between Amelia (I love her name) an Lucius is a pleasure to read. I will be reading the entire series. In fact, I am almost finished with the second book ( Sorry it takes me...

So much to love and so much to hate

Ok guys, this is hard to write. Let me start by saying if this book wasn’t so good, it would only get two stars. Why two stars? The typos were so many. But not in such a sense it took from the story. They were the same ones over and over! It’s told in first person but in the middle of a sentence it would switch. And use like stood instead of stand or something. I wanted so bad to fix it. Maybe this is just because I do some copy editing for an author. The other thing is, while it was easy to...

You won't be able to stop at just reading the first book

This is a refreshing fun book to read. Amelia is such a great character. She makes this book everything and so much more. She is relatable on so many levels which is great. There aren't many dull moments in this book which means it will keep you turning those pages to find out what happens next. Amelia is not your every day normal person. Her world is mixed with normal human things and the supernatural world. When the 2 worlds collide things get very interesting for her. She has to make a lot...

that’s a HOT TÓMALE! Honestly. This is Oaranormal for the grown ups. Slow burn, fast burn, great story- descriptive. Nothing is left out, but still more questions need to be asked. Stephanie weaves together a new universe for paranormal lovers. This is part of a series I continuously come back to. 😍 )

good storyline except female lead was childish and stupid

I have never read any of Ms Hudsons books before, but someone on the Audible Romance Group Facebook page recommended it and I was looking for a new series to read. I read the first the first 2 books, Afterlife and Venom of the Gods. I could barely finish the 2nd one. the main female character, Amelia, was so poorly written she was an insult to the intelligence of women worldwide. the phrase \"I don't understand\" was said by her so many times I wanted to throw my reader against the wall. Even...
