okay, victor and lucy were HOT. that patient vs doctor trope 👀 um, delicious. this series is probably one of my favorite reads so far this year. y’all know i’m a slut for anything frankenstein-y, and i actually already had this downloaded, and when i found out the nightmare’s kiss were from the same series, i was so excited! this was such a fun adventure! victor was a broody, traumatized mess and lucy was a complex and mysterious doctor. the slow burn was everything and i loved watching them...

Such a refreshing monster read.

It’s rare to get good monster romance books with plots and twists. This book helped me get out of my reading slump. While it wasn’t my favorite it’s a great read with the perfect amount of spice and plot. One aspect I didn’t like, and this may be a spoiler to some was the fact our MMC consumes human flesh… like I get animals and whatnot but people make it gross. It’s hard to look at our couple romantically knowing that he is a human eater, I guess this indie monster romance is a bit too monster...

The Revenants Heart is book 2 in the monsters research facility series by Skyla Grey. This book was a cute, enjoyable and quick read. It was a little predictable and lacked depth at times but I really liked the vibes of the book. Overall it was an enjoyable read for me. ) One person found this helpful
