I love how the author gave me a chance to get to know the characters, because of that, I was extremely invested as the story progressed. This was a fun read and I can't wait to read more from the author ! )

You'll Slow Burn For This Series

An interesting premise with characters that still have plenty of room to grow. I'll admit, I found our FMC a tad irritating to start. As her story unfolds and she gains new perspectives and confidence, my enjoyment of her grew too. Anna didn't have an easy start to life, and now that she's the centerpiece of a Satanic cult, I don't think her life is going to get easier any time soon. If you find off-page mentions of sexual assault by a family member, spousal abuse, and on-pqge dubious consent...
