Revenge and Ruin (The Bone Moon Trilogy Book 2)

by Emily Colin

About this book

Katerina Ivanova has achieved the impossible by dragging her Shadow, Niko, back from the depths of the Underworld. But their victory is fragile. Bound by a perilous bargain, they have only six months together before the cruel grasp of the demon realm claims him once more. For fans of high-stakes paranormal romance, this sequel delivers an intoxicating blend of dark atmosphere and heart-wrenching tension that builds upon the foundation of their impossible, lifelong connection.

Niko has returned, but he is fundamentally changed. The curse he carries grants him terrifying, seductive power, painting a target on his back that turns his own people against him. As the couple is cast into exile, the narrative shifts into a gripping battle for identity. This is enemies-to-lovers and second-chance romance at its most visceral, where the line between savior and monster blurs with every desperate choice they make to survive.

Emily Colin crafts an intense, emotional journey through hell-realms and fractured loyalties that will keep readers breathless. Niko must fight the encroaching darkness within him, while Katerina serves as his only anchor to the light. If you are looking for a story where forbidden love faces the ultimate demonic test, this series is your next obsession.

Man I LOVE this series!!!

March 29, 2026

I have been waiting, foot tapping, fingers drumming, ever so patiently impatient for this book! After reading book 1 I was hooked! Niko and Katya…omg I love them so much! And half the time I can’t tell if I am rooting for one villain over the other, cursing for all I am worth or wanting to know more background to our villains. What happened to Lilith?! And our other dimi and shadows… want..to…know…mooooore! I love you Emily Colin, and can’t wait till fall for book 3. )

Revenge and Ruin (The Bone Moon Trilogy Book 2)

March 26, 2026

**ARC Review** Revenge and Ruin by Emily Colin Katerina and Niko’s life-long forbidden love story came back with a vengeance in Revenge and Ruin, book two of The Bone Moon Trilogy. While Fate and Fury (book one) gave a rollercoaster of emotional feels, Revenge and Ruin excelled in physical feels. There were plenty of emotional, heartfelt moments too; but what stood out as sensational were the vivid descriptions of the environment, elements, and antagonizing demons which supported the story’s...

Romantasy

Revenge and Ruin is the second book in The Bone Moon Trilogy. Book 2 is an intense, emotional journey. Katerina and Niko barely have more than a moment of peace in this book, and it feels like the whole world is against them. All the turmoil puts their unbreakable bond on full display. There have never been two characters who fought harder for each other, and there is even a flashback to their childhood to show the beginnings of their friendship. There is also a powerful message about the...

So good!

⭐⭐⭐⭐.5 First and for more, the recap at the beginning - obsessed is an understatement. I wish every series would do this. Revenge and Ruin throws you straight back into the chaos of book one, no breathing room. Katya and Niko are immediately fighting for their lives again, and honestly, I was hooked. I loved getting Niko’s POV this time. Seeing his struggle with the darkness, the fear, the love, it added so much emotional weight. Their bond feels even stronger here, and the tension between them...

Romantasy, second book

April 6, 2026

This book has been one I have been waiting for! I am soo excited that we finally get Niko's POV in this book. This book was a journey of emotions. It picks up right where book 1 left off. The additional POVs really help drive the story. I would have loved to see more spicy moments, but the ones that were there were great! I knew from book one Elena was a villain and that becomes even more solidified in this book. The fight between light and dark is happening throughout multiple characters and...
