Malice: The Mate Games (Apocalypse, Book 3)

by Meg Anne

About this book

The world is teetering on the edge of destruction, and the only thing standing between humanity and total annihilation are four morally bankrupt, dangerously possessive men. As the final installment of the Mate Games: Apocalypse, this conclusion delivers an adrenaline-fueled ride that pushes the boundaries of the paranormal romance genre. Expect high-stakes tension, mind-bending twists, and a resolution that will leave you absolutely breathless.

At the heart of the chaos is a volatile dynamic that perfectly blends the grumpy-sunshine trope with a dark, twisted edge. Whether it is a celibate recluse, a rockstar incubus, a shadow-wielding powerhouse, or a battle-hardened ex-Spartan, these men are as lethal as they are devoted. Their methods are anything but honorable, yet their obsession with their mate provides a compelling, spicy anchor to the unfolding supernatural mayhem.

This is not a story for the faint of heart. Fans of why-choose romances and dark, atmospheric storytelling will find themselves completely immersed in this gritty, witty, and unapologetically steamy finale. If you have been waiting for the Four Horsemen to claim their prize while the world burns, prepare for a conclusion that is as devastating as it is satisfying. Your next obsession starts here.

Buckle up, buttercup...

I'm plenty tall enough to ride this ride, but I'm still left sputtering and clowning and WTFing (yes, that's a word) after finishing Malice, the newest book in the world ending, paranormal, why choose Mate Games universe. I swear with each one, Meg Anne and K. Loraine say \"hold my beer.\" Let me explain...no, there is too much. Let me sum up... the four horseman of the apocalypse are themselves racing to impregnate succubus demon cam girl Merri before Lucifer makes good on *his* plan to knock...

Another good one

You already know! You already know what to expect at this point don't you? If not, go back and read Obsession. I'll wait. 🤣 I’ve read or listened to every book in the Mate series, and even though I didn’t listen to this one, I could still hear their voices in my head. It’s such a delight to see familiar characters woven in again, and done in such a playful, satisfying way. So, what’s waiting for you in this book? Merri finally stepping into her own power, clueless males making predictably dumb...

Steamy, suspenseful, witty and so much fun!

I am completely gobsmacked by this book! Completely! I have come to expect nothing less from Meg and Kim though. They have masterfully created this complex universe of colorful, fascinating, witty characters and taken them on so many incredible journeys. Best of all is how they have woven each set of mates together and led them to this time and place with Merri and her four horseman. They are there in the background plotting to save the world all while Merri is demanding the truth from her men...

Loved it as much as I knew I would

Overall: 4.5/5 Spice Level: 3.5/5 Recommended: Yes Ugh, why can't this series just be completed already?! It is so good! All of the books are such a quick, easy read. Malice picks up right where Chaos left off and ends on an insane cliffhanger. I mean, I squealed when it ended. I don't squeal, but there I was. I think I did some of that really girly hand flapping, too. I don't know what else to add. I loved the characters. Loved the plot. Loved the spice, dear lord. I loved this book, and I am...

Excellent Book

Finally, back to the original book, this was a good book, loves this one. I like the cliffhanger. Everything was great. I do wonder why we have to wait until December 8th, to get to the new one. But that's okay way to keep writing fabulous materials for the masses. Can't wait for the next one to come out. I like to mouse this book for the best. So far this series can't wait to see grants, I hope we do better with his big art that he looks like an old guy on the cover. I don't like that cover,...
