Kidnapped by the Krampus: A Holiday Monster Romantasy

by Emily Shore

About this book

Twyla is an investigative journalist with a nose for the truth, but her latest assignment leads her into a chilling, supernatural trap. When she breaks into the mysterious offices of Krampus World to expose the CEO behind the mask, she expects a scandal. Instead, she wakes up shivering in a breathtaking winter castle, held captive by the very man she intended to ruin. This is no ordinary billionaire; he is a horned, hooved entity from a realm of ancient shadow, and he has no intention of letting his curious guest leave.

This dark romance pulls readers into a lush, hell-realm setting where holiday magic takes a wicked turn. As Twyla navigates the language barrier and the intense, dominant presence of her captor, she discovers that his punishments are as scorching as his castle is cold. The narrative expertly blends historical atmosphere with modern monster-romance tropes, creating a high-stakes power dynamic that is as addictive as it is forbidden.

For those craving a paranormal romance that leans into the spicy and the surreal, this story delivers. It is a seductive, high-heat exploration of a cursed royal figure desperate for salvation and the spirited woman who might just be his undoing. Prepare to be enchanted by this Yuletide obsession.

Krampus finds he must have Twyla

November 27, 2023

Spicy alert, just saying. Krampus is dominant in all the delicious ways! Twyla was an inspiring but struggling journalist. Getting to interview at Krampus World seemed like a great step in the right direction. Her not so lovely boss gave her this news but a few days before Christmas. She had a love hate relationship with this holiday. She own childhood wasn't so joyful this time of year. She took this as yet another assignment. Maybe meeting up with a mystery guy would be just the gift she was...

Spicy Christmas!

November 14, 2023

I picked up this book on a whim because it is Christmas themed AND had some Norse Mythology references. As I began reading it, I was so happy I was in the mood for spice because 🥵🥵🥵. The beginning was so spicy and I was honestly kind of worried that would be it (the eggnog did NOT disappoint though). Once Emily had you caught up to speed and falling in love with the characters, that's when the amazing plot just hit you in the face. At one point while reading, I could barely work because my...

Tis the season for eggnog and spice

November 13, 2023

This book is not your average Christmas tale. Emily Shore combines the Norse version of Krampus and tons of winter spice! As an amateur spicy reader, I would say this book is a 4 out of 5 on the spice level. While reading this book I learned about the Norse mythology of Kampus, which was interesting in itself. You feel for Twyla and hope she gets the fairytale life she envisions for herself. You want Krampus to be the good guy and not the demon of Christmas you may know him as. But till the...

🌶️🔥🥵 I want Krampus to take me now

December 20, 2023

I am not usually someone who reads seasonal or holiday specific books. If it's spicy though I will give it a try and when I say I was not prepared .. 🤤🤤🤤🤤... This was written so well and I could envision it like I was watching a movie while I was reading it. It was hard to put it down to go to bed. It will definitely be on display... In my room... Away from my kids. Every. Single. Christmas. I don't like eggnog but this makes me want to give it another shot (iykyk 😉) )
