I feel like this book was a full-fledged adventure that could even be a movie or even like a short series. I loved it. and I’m not gonna lie,It took me a second to get into the main character, but she turned out to be a really cool source to be reckonedwith. I loved the little jokes that were splattered throughout the action and how much action was actually in it cause usually books like this, you only get like the crazy sexy raunchy scenes. There was enough of that to keep me giggling and...

This book was such a fun read from start to finish. Rayna was a really likable main character, and her relationship with Keri was one of the highlights for me. The spicy scenes were done well and had a nice nuance to them, which I appreciated. The MC was bold but also vulnerable, which I loved. Metice, the MMC, was an interesting character, and while I wish we had gotten to know more about him earlier on, he really grew on me by the end. The writing felt a bit choppy at times, but it didn’t...

This book was a sexy adventure from start to finish! Jessica Cage is an excellent writer who has built a world I’d love to experience more of. The story centers around Rayna and Metice, and let me tell you, they are a heck of a team. The chemistry between them is off the charts, and the blend of spice, good storytelling, and kick-assery is just perfect. One of the best things about this book is that it features two Black main characters in a fantasy setting, which is refreshing and much-needed....
