Lucian Teivel is the ultimate black sheep, except his family tree is rooted in the literal pits of Hell. Banished to Earth with no explanation, the Devil’s own son is forced to trade his throne for a badge at Infernal Affairs. Tasked with policing supernatural crime in Savannah, Luke is just trying to survive his exile without incinerating the local population. His only obstacle? A stubborn, suspicious human partner named Sorcha O’Malley, who is tasked with keeping his demonic impulses in check.
What begins as a grudging, slow-burn partnership quickly spirals into a fight for survival when a string of gruesome murders points directly to Luke. Framed by an unseen enemy with a personal vendetta, he finds himself trapped between the human world he loathes and the infernal home he desperately craves. As the body count rises, Luke and Sorcha must navigate a dangerous web of secrets, uncovering an attraction that is as volatile as it is forbidden.
This urban fantasy delivers a perfect cocktail of enemies-to-lovers tension and high-stakes supernatural mystery. Whether you crave second-chance narratives or the dark, witty allure of royalty hiding in plain sight, this gritty academy-adjacent thriller is your next must-read obsession.

I went into this thinking it was going to be like the dark Hunter series. And it's not it's just as good. Get yourself cuddled on the couch with some cookies or whatever it is you eat and have some fun reading this )
