by Brenda K. Davies
Fourteen years after a catastrophic government experiment shattered the barrier between worlds, humanity is still struggling to survive the aftermath of a literal Hell on Earth. Wren has spent over a decade navigating the brutal, post-apocalyptic Wilds, but her fight for survival takes a dangerous turn when she is forced to forge an unlikely alliance with the very demons she spent her life despising.
The tension reaches a breaking point when she is paired with Corson, an infuriatingly charming demon who pushes every one of her buttons. As they hunt the lethal creatures terrorizing the remnants of society, their animosity begins to simmer into a volatile attraction. This classic enemies-to-lovers dynamic forces them to confront not only the monsters lurking in the shadows but also the buried secrets threatening to tear Wren’s reality apart.
If you crave high-stakes paranormal romance set in a gritty, immersive world, this installment in the series delivers the perfect blend of spice and suspense. With the fate of both realms hanging in the balance, Wren and Corson must decide if their growing bond is worth the risk of total destruction. Dive into this dark, enchanting journey where the line between savior and enemy is permanently blurred.

She lives...

I really enjoyed this book. Ive read the Road to Hell so I was familiar with the characters and the back story. I wasn't sure how much I would like this spinoff since I had become so attached to Kobal and River but it did not disappoint! Corson is funny, strong, fearless and lovable! It was only a matter of time before Wren figured it out too! As always, the writing is phenomenal and the story and characters have depth, charisma, and are its totally relatable. I can imagine myself traveling...
