Phantom is now at the top of my list of favorite MMCs EVER! His antics are hysterical and his conversations with his therapist had me dying. He is unapologetically himself but realizes, for the right person, he wants to be the best version of himself. We watch with Barbara as the veil is removed from her eyes and she sees how empty her life really is. Oh my lanta, Phantom might just be my favorite MMC of all time. Unhinged, hilarious, vulgar, oh so sweet, sexy, confident, unapologetically himself, & capable of doing some dark 💩 to those who hurt the innocent & his girl. I really liked this book. 4.5 stars for rating, 4 for spice. Phantom was such a fun character, with his being blunt, irreverent, crude, and unserious. The contract negotiation was hilarious. And I loved his relationship with Nat. )
