Fallen Feather: The Forgotten Angel, Book 2

by Merri Bright

About this book

Names carry weight, but for the angel once known as Useless, her new identity comes at a devastating cost. After sacrificing her wings, her body, and her connection to her fated mate to save Sanctuary, Feather finds that returning home is far from the triumphant homecoming she imagined. Instead of peace, she finds herself navigating a treacherous landscape of glitter-hating enemies and a deep-seated suspicion that the true evil has been lurking within her own walls all along.

As a gripping entry in the demon romance genre, this sequel masterfully leans into the addictive pull of enemies-to-lovers tension. When Protectors begin to vanish, Feather is forced into the darkest corners of Sanctuary—a subterranean labyrinth that serves as both a prison and a sex dungeon—to uncover a truth that threatens to shatter everything she fought to protect. The stakes have never been higher, and the path to redemption is paved with dangerous secrets.

If you are craving a paranormal romance that blends high-stakes celestial politics with scorching chemistry and a relentless pace, this series is your next obsession. With a cliffhanger that will leave you desperate for the next installment, be warned: once you step into Feather’s world, you will not want to leave.

June for the third book? Gah.

September 6, 2022

You simply must stop dropping the cliffies. You're killing me, smalls. Seriously, I'm just this side of two open-heart surgeries and quite possibly sitting on a finite limit of time here. June is like a frustrating exercise in sadistic torture, with just a dash of 'holy carp, I hope I make it' thrown in lol That said, I might just as well write a review while Im here, though I only usually do that when I think greatly unflattering things about a book. To be clear, I find the willy-nilly giving...

Black Hole Continues!

August 24, 2022

Oh man. Oh man. Oh man. If you though thought Lost Feather sucked you in, you’re in for full on addiction with Fallen Feather. I’ve read it about 15 times and still can’t put it down. Just to make myself clear, I hate re-reads, and I hate cliff hangers, but for Merri Bright, I’ll willingly jump off of said cliff repeatedly because this series is addictive and all consuming. More of the mystery unfolds that kept us on the edge of our seats, so to speak in book one. Things that didn’t make sense...

creeping toward a 5 star!

Wow! This installment really stepped it up! So much going on, so many directions to be pulled in, so much heightened emotions! After Feather's Great Sacrifice, you would think everyone would be more accepting? open? happy? But Nooooooo. Feather makes up \"frustration\" words so she doesn't add smut by swearing. But the supposed goody-two-shoes are so filled with jealously, anger, hate, envy, greed, you'd think they would be exuding gray smut. Of course, the bad guys have a devious way of hiding...

When book 2 has you more in love than book 1!!

August 24, 2022

“There are no bad souls, little one; all souls are redeemable.” I legit SCREAMED when I got the email for this ARC. I fell head over backside for this gorgeous world that Merri had built in book 1 and Fallen Feather did NOT DISAPPOINT! So often the second book in a trilogy can feel off, like it is just being used as a vehicle to get to the finale but this book is a beauty all in its own right! We pick up right where Lost Feather ends and the beginning scenes with Rumple and Feather had such...

Fantastic Fun

** Cliffhanger Warning! ** Oh my glittery goddess! I love this book. It's as good, if not better, than the first part of this wonderful story. There's a ton of fast-paced action, laugh out loud moments, and super steamy stuff. Even when bad things were happening, I was laughing and enjoying Feather's journey. I am still reeling from the ending! What the fark is going to happen next?! So many things that happened in this book are ridiculously sublime, while others are terrible. I feel like this...
