Demon's Bane (Crescent Coven Book 2)

by Leigh Miller

About this book

Joan just wants a quiet life brewing tea and avoiding the chaotic politics of the Crescent Coven. But when the High Priestess forces her back into the fold, she is thrust into a dangerous investigation that spans the human and demon realms. Her reluctant partner? A massive, surly demon who views all witches with deep-seated suspicion.

This steamy paranormal romance perfectly captures the grumpy-sunshine dynamic, pairing a grounded, tea-loving witch with a possessive demon who discovers she is his fated mate. As they navigate a crumbling peace treaty between their worlds, they must overcome their mutual distrust to solve a crime that threatens everything they hold dear. What begins as a forced alliance quickly evolves into an undeniable bond as they realize they are the other half of each other’s souls.

Leigh Miller delivers a cozy yet gripping tale that shines brightest through its found-family charm and interrealm stakes. If you are looking for a heartwarming escape filled with high-fantasy intrigue and a touch of fated-mate destiny, this is the perfect addition to your shelf. Whether you are a fan of demon deals or just crave a sweet, magical romance, this story offers a delightful, must-read adventure.

Such a cute story 😍💕

I loved the first book, but this one is my favorite so far. Rhett and Joan are adorable, and I got so many warm, cuddly feelings from their interactions. It's a cute series with lots of interrealm drama. I was looking for a cutesy book after reading some dark romance, and this was a great pallette cleanser. I'm hoping Esme will get better as the series goes on. But maybe she's the real villain here and we just haven't caught on. )

Cute

This series is just adorable. That is the best way to describe it. The couple is cutesy, fun, and just make for an easy read. Not much tension or darkness, even though dealing with demons. This is one of those books you read when you need something simple and light hearted. Good overall. I will say though....the spice was really good when it happens. )

different

This was different than most books I read but I actually enjoyed it. It was different which made it more interesting. I’m not found of the whole human witch with no powers working at a coffee shop thing but it makes the storyline. )

Or a crescent witch with a fae!!! I’m def going to check out the other book series this author has! I am...

Witch and Demon Drama

The realms are open and the veil is healed. Now there is a thief among the humans taking precious crystals from the demon mines. Joan is outside of the coven, but her debts need to be paid. She’s forced to work side by side with a demon to find the truth. He knows she’s his mate, but is he willing to tell her the truth? Are they enough to solve the mystery of the missing crystals? This story was a fascinating quick read. Some smut, a decent plot. He falls first vibes. Knotting. Demons. Witches....
