A Forever Unrooting of Jade and Hickory (The Rooted Realm)

by Lyra Winters
Survival at the Demon Reform Academy has shifted from a grueling test of endurance to a high-stakes game of cat and mouse. Dark Veil has abandoned recruitment in favor of total destruction, marking you as their primary target. As dark magic begins to consume the Demon Capital, you must navigate a landscape where assassins lurk in every shadow and the line between ally and enemy blurs. This is a journey through the hell-realms where every secret could be your last.
The Fates have bound your destiny to five, yet only two bonds have been sealed. To unlock the true potential of your powers and survive the encroaching darkness, you must confront the hidden demons within your companions. This slow-burn paranormal romance masterfully balances intense, adrenaline-fueled combat with the raw, emotional ache of fated connections. You will find yourself breathless as the plot twists through dangerous magical trials and deeply personal revelations.
Readers are already calling this the most gripping installment yet, praising the visceral fight choreography and the satisfying emotional payoffs that mend the scars left by previous cliffhangers. If you crave an academy setting rich with dark lore and heart-stopping tension, Term 3 is the addictive next chapter you have been waiting for.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Okay, now that thatโs out of the way. Lyra is fantastic at healing the damage she does with the cliffhangers from previous books. This book healed my heart a bit. That being said this book is a wholeeeee journey. Assassinations attempts from left and right. Dark magic is just popping up in the most inconvenient places and times and just overwhelming the council and Pandora and her mates. We have character growth and relationship development that had me cheering them on....

This is such a good book, the plot is amazing and is so unique. But the biggest thing I love are the fight scenes. A lot of writers glance over the actual fighting and it can get kind of boring (to the point that I will just glance over the page because I know it wonโt make any sense) but the way Lyra writes them it is so clear and you actually get to understand whoโs doing what. I love a good romance, but when Iโm able to understand and follow as the characters battle it makes it that much...

Book 3 is much better than book 2, which was pretty repetitive within the first half of it. Pandora is getting much stronger and having an actual backbone. The only thing I don't care for is the romance between Death and Jenni. It doesn't make sense to me and kind of gave me the ick. Death is supposed to be a badass soul eater...but he gets paired up with a immature, obsessive succubus, who is best friend with his daughter. But that's just my opinion ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ ) 4 people found this helpful

I love this amazing world and how even in book three Iโm seeing new areas and a greater feeling for the demon district. The backstory for Nebula had me in tears, the growth seen in Pandora and her guys is profound as they battle there way through term 3. I wondered through the first two books why fate had given her the five mates she has and I truly feel as though this book opened up a whole new perspective. Anybody else wondering how Fester is gonna pop up in this last book because we all know...
