Demon King: Claimed by Lucifer, Book 1

by Elizabeth Briggs

About this book

When Hannah’s best friend vanishes into the neon shadows of Las Vegas, she is forced to turn to the city’s most enigmatic billionaire, Lucas Ifer. He is the CEO of Abaddon Inc. and the undisputed King of Sin City, but behind his polished facade hides a terrifying truth: he is Lucifer himself. Desperate to save her friend, Hannah strikes a bargain with the devil, unaware that the price of his assistance is far higher than she ever imagined.

By accepting his help, Hannah unwittingly signs away more than just her freedom. She is thrust into a seductive, high-stakes game where she becomes the prize. Lucifer claims her not just for seven nights of intoxicating sin, but for all eternity. As she is pulled into his dark, otherworldly realm, she realizes she is the modern-day Persephone to his Hades, destined to rule at the side of a man who is literal evil incarnate.

This addictive paranormal romance masterfully blends hell-realm mythology with a dark, billionaire twist. If you crave intense chemistry, dangerous power dynamics, and a descent into shadows where the stakes are your very soul, this is the series starter you have been waiting for.

Intoxicatingly Addictive

I have never taken the time to write a review on a book and I've never stayed up all night to read something in one sitting....until now. I'm absolutely obsessed with Lucas and Hannah's story!!! The way Elizabeth pulled me in to their world had me laughing, gasping, and even a little bit of crying out loud. And the sex scenes had my blood pressure through the roof!!! Where in the world can I find my own Lucas Ifer??? He may be the Demon King but Lucas has such a gentle and loving side when it...

A new-to-me author became an auto-buy with this one book!

I wrote this review back on Halloween but I can no longer find it in my account, so I am copying and pasting it again. I’ve also updated it a bit since the release of the second in this series is only days away. I am not exaggerating when I say the wait has been agonizing. Goodness, what to say about this book? This is hard because I really don’t want to give anything away and ruin the experience for anyone. I had never heard of Elizabeth Briggs before picking up this book. I used to read just...

Demon King

Oh this story was sooo good. I loved Lucifer and Hannah. This story is well written and sucks you in from the first page until the very end! I love anything with angels, demons, incubus, dragons. This is the very first book from this author after she was recommended on a fb group page and I am so happy I have found her. I can’t wait to read book 2 )

Pretty Good

I like the concept not the book and it was an easy, enjoyable read. The ending left me on the edge of my seat and I have tons of questions that I hope get answered in the next book. The characters were okay and there was a twist I wasn't expecting at the end, which was nice. Plus, I really love the concept of reincarnation and a love that spans several lifetimes. But I do think that it went a little fast for my taste. Fast but slow, I guess you could say. It seems like Hannah and Lucifer never...

The Pages Turn Themselves...

November 16, 2020

I’m a sucker for a good fated mate story, and what could be more intense than meeting the devil’s mate herself? I was already hooked on the idea of the plot, bought the book early, and stayed until until well past midnight on its release day to download and read it...all night. In short, it captured me. Elizabeth paints a vivid picture from sentence one. You fall for her characters because they’re not perfect heroes, and I fell hard for Lucas Ifer. Of course I did. Who doesn’t love a bad boy?...
