Livy’s life is defined by the trauma of losing her parents to demigod monsters, leaving her with a deep-seated hatred for the creatures who tore her world apart. Now, sold as a political pawn to prevent war, she finds herself trapped in the heart of enemy territory. Her captors are three possessive, lethal demigod alphas who hold absolute power at their elite supernatural academy—and they are also her professors. They claim she is their fated mate, but Livy refuses to submit to the monsters who represent everything she fears.
The forced proximity of the academy ignites a dangerous, slow-burn tension that threatens to consume her. Beneath her defiance, Livy harbors a volatile secret: she is a chaos elemental, a forbidden power that could shatter the balance of their world. When a seductive Demon God emerges with a promise of bloody revenge against all monsters, Livy is forced to navigate a treacherous path. She must decide if she will surrender to the men who claim her soul or embrace a darker, more destructive power to ensure her own survival.
This dark paranormal romance delivers an addictive blend of enemies-to-lovers angst and high-stakes supernatural intrigue. Perfect for readers who crave possessive alpha heroes, forbidden magic, and simmering tension, the story creates an atmosphere where betrayal and desire collide. Dive into a world where the line between predator and partner blurs, and one woman’s rage might just burn everything to the ground.

Very much enjoyed reading this book, the main character did make me mad at some points but she obviously had every right to be standoffish specially what happened at the end but very excited to see how this plays out will continue the series! )

I have mixed feelings about this book. I like the plot of the book. I like how it was written. I honestly think it might be the characters. Livy is strong and sarcastic and knows what she wants. The men in this book seem to have no feelings or live to them. The only time they actually seemed \"human\" was during the trials and the end of the book. It does end on a cliffhanger that does make want to read the next book, I just hope the men are better in the next one. ) 4 people found this helpful

I loved the storyline and characters, it was page turning and thrilling. The romance was very slow burn and enemies to lovers and I enjoyed both. The writing was a little rough. There were quite a few errors, enough that I don't think this was formally edited. And parts of the description in scenes were confusing and hard to follow who was doing what and when (like body awareness in certain scenes was confusing).... But even with those issues the story was so compelling and I really enjoyed it!...

You should know that the third book is not scheduled for release until May of 2025. I absolutely devoured the first two books and gave them both 5 stars, but if (like me) you prefer to read a complete series, save this to a list or follow the author. I will be checking to see if there are any complete stories by Taylor Spratt and I strongly recommend reading them. ) 3 people found this helpful

I’ve mostly given up on werewolf romances as they tend to be a bit bland at times but this book has opened back the portal to what a good slow burn enemies to lovers may feel like. The book moves at a past that isn’t too slow to be a turn off and without giving away the plot it dances on just the right amount of teasing and sensual to keep you going with a few unexpected plot developments.definitely recommend ) 3 people found this helpful
