Theon's story delivers. Verity is awkward and scattered and the absolute sunshine needed to shake up Theon's grump. He's not such a villain after all. Sebastian makes a great villain, however, not just an -over-coddled Momma's boy. Definitely read the others first or you'll be lost. )

Liked the quirky main characters. It's a monster romance so the immediate lust at first sight funny and entertaining. The characters redemption arc was kind of pat. Left me wondering about the little sister. I will probably read all the books in the series. )

I think I enjoyed this book the most so far in the series! Although the first book is amazing too. Really enjoying how well the realm is created. Plenty of background and story but not so much that it takes away from the love story. )

A monster romance that is decidedly sweet. I think I might like verity most of all - she’s just so dang honest about who she is and what she wants. Theon? I ended up liking him, though I truly disliked him in the beginning. )
