Returning home for the holidays is never easy, but for Ember, it has become a supernatural minefield. As she navigates her first Christmas as a vampire, she must balance the heavy expectations of her human family with the reality of her new, immortal existence. Bringing her vampire husband, Sebastian, into the mix is a challenge in itself, especially since they married in secret, far away from the prying eyes of her kin.
This festive novella in the bestselling Vampire Girl universe is a must-read for fans of paranormal romance who enjoy the tension of second-chance dynamics and the allure of royal intrigue. Between a persistent ex-boyfriend resurfacing to stir up trouble and a jarring blood craving that refuses to be ignored, Ember’s holiday season is anything but merry. Secrets are lurking around every corner, and even the finest cognac cannot mask the underlying chaos of her dual life.
If you are craving a story that blends domestic drama with high-stakes supernatural flair, this installment is the perfect short escape. It offers a intimate, witty look at how Ember and Sebastian fight to keep their love alive while surviving the most stressful time of the year. Will they make it to the New Year intact? Dive in to find out.

This novella is a great addition to Ember’s story. If you wondered how she was handling her new life as a vampire look no further! With Christmas coming up Ember must decide how to incorporate her human life with her vampire nature in order to attend her family Christmas. Surprises await her when she arrives. While this is a short story it is still packed with love, questions, and intrigue. I couldn’t have asked for a better story to keep me interested in the Vampire Girl universe. )

I would have liked a few more pages to turn. This novella was a brief insight into a vampire Christmas with a few humans thrown in for good measure. Family is everything and nothing can stop Ember from being with hers although nothing goes as planned. Still the ending was a bit predictable but I like it that way sometimes. )
