The Sweet Fall: African American Paranormal romance (Fallen Hearts Series: Black Women & Angel Romance Book 2)

by Melody Lynch

About this book

Ava has spent centuries mastering the art of detachment. As a fallen angel, her existence is defined by chaos, cheap liquor, and a series of meaningless flings designed to keep her heart firmly behind a wall of ice. She is the ultimate guardian of her own hardened identity, existing only for the thrill of the fight and the loyalty of her brotherhood.

Everything changes when she is assigned to protect Natasha, an underworld princess caught in the crosshairs of a deadly conspiracy. What begins as a routine prison transfer quickly dissolves into a blood-soaked nightmare, forcing the two women into a desperate, high-stakes escape. As they navigate the shadows of the supernatural underworld, Ava discovers that Natasha is far more than a fragile socialite, and her own carefully constructed walls begin to crumble under the weight of an undeniable, scorching connection.

This gripping paranormal romance masterfully blends high-octane action with the tension of a forbidden attraction. Featuring the beloved found-family trope and an exploration of royal intrigue, this story delivers a spicy, emotional journey that proves even the coldest hearts can be redeemed by love. If you are looking for an addictive, queer-led tale of protection and passion, this is your next obsession.

This was a book πŸ“š I would have put down years ago, but I'm open to read about all love πŸ’ž romance πŸ’• Ava was definitely 😁 living up to her stud/boyish ways. She was not 🚫 backing down πŸ‘ŽπŸΎ or allowing any man ♂️ to bully her, especially not 🚫 in front of Natasha. I am glad she met Natasha, so she could see πŸ™ˆ how it felt to like/love someone and be vulnerable. Cause Ava was doin them girls dirty πŸ˜‚ just like a dude 😎 )
