Iris Adelaide Greene has spent two years trapped in the gray haze of grief following the tragic death of her brother, Kai. As a high-powered events director in Chrysocolla Cove, she moves through life with a fractured heart, unaware that she is never truly alone. Her constant companion is her guardian angel, a supernatural force invisible to everyone—until she crosses paths with Jasper Alcott.
Jasper is a cynical, grumpy recluse forced back into his father’s dusty antique shop, a man who has long since abandoned his own ambitions. When he encounters Iris, he is immediately drawn to her, but he is just as quickly baffled by the mysterious, silent figure looming in her shadow. As the only human capable of seeing her celestial protector, Jasper is thrust into a world of divine intervention and hidden truths.
This emotional paranormal romance masterfully blends the grumpy-sunshine trope with a poignant exploration of loss. As Jasper breaks through Iris’s walls to help her rediscover her light, he must navigate the meddling of a guardian angel who has his own agenda. Will their budding connection be strong enough to withstand the inevitable sacrifices ahead? Dive into this beautiful, atmospheric story about finding love in the darkest of places.

I loved every second of this story. Reading it was like being wrapped in a cozy blanket in the fall with a warm latte in hand, rain falling outside and not a care in the world. It does touch on sensitive subjects like grief and loss but in the most beautiful way. I loved all the characters, the setting, the writing was beautiful and I felt just about every emotion while reading this book. It's perfect for cozy fall days or nights. 🍂☕️🧦 )
