Started the first book and when I finished, I couldn't wait-I ended up buying every book in the series and reading them back to back. I can hardly wait for the next one. I started this series on a whim and was hooked. I am not the target audience for this genre (as I am older and male) but grew up reading fantasy and found this to be a good read for those of us so inclined. I LOVE this series! It's cute, fun to read and you can't help but love the characters; I can picture everyone in the book as friends/family. I really like how the author incorporates different mythical creatures and ideas in her story line and my family is from NOLA so I really love that she includes city information, neighborhoods, and describes the scenery so well.
