Sacrament of Sin

by L.M. Stone

About this book

Charlie is a woman who has stopped believing in anything, especially herself, until a dead man wakes up on her autopsy table. This isn't just any corpse; it is Suriel, a fallen angel stripped of his wings and exiled to Earth. Suddenly, Charlie is thrust into a terrifying reality of hellhounds, demonic possession, and an ancient prophecy that demands her soul. As the apocalypse begins to tear the world apart, she realizes she is the ultimate battlefield for a war between Heaven and Hell.

This gripping paranormal romance masterfully blends high-stakes celestial conflict with the intense heat of a reverse-harem dynamic. L.M. Stone crafts a world where the lines between divine duty and carnal desire blur, forcing Suriel to choose between his sacred mission and the woman he was meant to destroy. It is a slow-burn journey that tests the limits of morality, faith, and survival.

Readers will be hooked by the sharp, addictive banter and the gut-wrenching emotional stakes that define this story. If you are searching for a romance that challenges your perspective while delivering delicious tension and supernatural chaos, this is a must-read. Prepare to question everything as you discover that in the fight for salvation, love is the most dangerous sacrament of all.

A slow-burn paranormal romance with emotional stakes and absolute banger of banter

March 29, 2026

I absolutely loved this book. It delivers incredible banter, delicious tension, and a slow burn that completely consumes you, I was hooked from start to finish. Am I a fan of Liberty’s writing? That’s a big yes. Her storytelling truly shines here. The plot twists keep you on your toes, the pacing never drags, and the characters feel vivid, layered, and real. This story blends apocalyptic chaos with strong Biblical and religious themes, creating a world where faith, judgment, and survival...

Questioning what I thought I knew

March 31, 2026

A religious book is honestly the last thing I ever expected LM Stone to publish, but true to her style it had me questioning my sanity, my morals and what I thought I knew about myself. Growing up Mormon means I have been kept fairly blind to other religions, but that didn't get in the way of the message coming from Sacrament of Sin. Charlie has had an honestly horrible run through with life. Beginning with what many children of religious zealots go through.. Purification, often twisted methods...

🪽Well Holy…. Okay so… Sky daddy sent sky baby to deal with his outta control Sims game and either force restart it or delete it entirely👀 🪽Okay enough joking… this book put me to tears… whether those tears were running down my leg or my face—I was in a state of awe😧 “You’re meant to be adored, not loved. You’re meant to be feared, not desired. You’re meant to be respected, not understood. Break every chain that holds you, that’s kept you obedient and kind and told you that you’re not...

Good read!

This book was very different than what I usually read but I would still give it 4 stars! The story is definitely filled with so many emotions so if you're an emotional reader, be prepared. There is a twist where you will realize why/how everything makes sense. Below are some of the tropes but make sure to also check the trigger warning list before diving in! -Dark Romance - Age Gap - Slow Burn - Morally Grey - Psychological Manipulation - Sacrilegious Romance ) One person found this helpful

Charlie and Suriel

March 29, 2026

When I think of a religious book, this is not what comes to mind. But let me tell you, LM Stone delivers an addicting read that involves Heaven, angels, the devil, and the rapture. This story combines and an apocalyptic battle and a religious theme so perfectly. Charlie is sassy, strong, independent, and feisty. An apocalypse is going on and she finds an Angel in her morgue, she soon realizes her life will never be the same. Suriel was stripped of his wings and cast down to Earth. His mission...
